Batik is a fabric dying method using wax to create patterns and designs. It's similar to ikat-dye and tie-dye technique. Batik designs are drawn on the fabric with hot liquid wax by using a metal object called canting.

The unique hand-drawn batik prints/designs are created by local batik artists.Every single piece is uniquely designed, drawn and finally painted by hand. Our kaftans are all top quality with batik drawings front and back, unlike some inferior ones which is only pretty on one side.

 Laundry care:  

Handwash separately with cold water and hang dry during the first wash.

Handwash/gentle machine cycle is highly recommended to preserve the batik print. 

Machine wash on normal cycle. Do not tumble dry and bleach. 

Medium iron recommended. Material is easy to iron and doesn't wrinkle easily
